If you use a VPN, we suggest that you turn it off when using YTD. YouTube can detect if you use a VPN and because the VPN makes you anonymous YT will restrict your connection and this can and does cause a problem for YTD.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We are seeing an increasing problem with antivirus programs blocking the download and installation of our software.
If you encounter problems downloading or installing you may need to do the following:
1. Temporarily disable your antivirus.
2. If you are using Microsoft Edge or get see an error from SmartScreen, disable it
3. If this link is NOT clickable, copy it and paste it into your browser.
